This forum is unusable because of pop ups
You should research AdBlock before using it. You are basically giving people access to your computer. That’s to put it in simple terms.

I have a Samsung galaxy S7 and dont have a computer. All my muthead activity is on my phone and this website is almost unusable. Load times are so slow and it freezes up constantly. Ad blocker, different browser, it doesn't matter. It's been like this for years, I know they are always looking to improve the website but I have seen no change since I've been a member which is 4 years I believe. It's just as slow as it was 4 years ago
If on a phone dont ever take safari for this site its too slow. I have google chrome on my android and its better
Also downloaded Adblock Plus specifically due to this website. Those pop up ads are rediculous here.

I can't believe its been at least a year and no one has fired the ad company they do business with. The only one i get is that malicious one about winning the giveaway that locks up your screen and doesn't let go til you hit their ok button which does who knows what. Then when you back out it takes you 2 pages instead of 1. you reclick the link to the thread or whatever and your back in the grasp of that horrible ad. back and forth all night long. that coupled with the reply box bug and 4-5 reloads to get it to show and this site is really falling apart.
honestly one of the worst managed things I've ever seen on the web. I figured the ad itself would have been shutdown by now.
GO to safari settings, clear website history and website data; force close your browser. Fixed, without taking important ad revenue away from the site.
I see a lot of ad block apps on iOS. Which one is the one you guys speak of? Don’t want pick a fake one or something

Telemarketing logic. Seems backwards but it works. It's really just about getting that seed in your head, you may hate the product but being in your head at all is better than not.
If your on mobile, follow the steps here for iOS and or android : go to browser settings,
clear web web history and website browsing data.
force close browser.
should be good, rinse and repeat until the issue is resolved during maintenance.

I always wondered this too, kinda like those dumb infomercials you see at 3am when nothing is on TV. Who cares though if they want to spend the money to have their ad shown, its good for the site, even if you don't click on it. That's how site owners see it free revenue. Ad Block is great, I am a MH supporter myself too, but I been running Adblock before becoming a member.
