Coercing people to buy items in a game mode that has predetermined outcomes falls under false advertising and is illegal in the United States of America
Understandably, the consumer chooses to purchase items but is not provided a blatent opt in providing information that the game is not based on skill or luck. The house is controlling your outcome.
Like If you put down $500 on the blackjack table, the floor manager walks over, scrolls through the deck and gives you to 2 Aces - you split them. The floor manager then goes through the deck again and gives you 2 5's - forcing you to hit. The floor manager then AGAIN scrolls through the deck to give you 2 face cards. Sitting at 16/16 - you hit because the floor manager put out a king to show as the dealer card. He scrolls through the deck and throws 2 more face cards for a bust.
