Abilities on O-Line?

I run probably 75% of the time, currently have offensive abilities on Lamar Jackson, Bo, and Moss.

I’m considering taking abilities off Moss and put on an O-lineman. Will this help my run/pass blocking more than it harms my already awful passing/receiving?

What abilities are recommended, and does it matter which lineman to put them on?

Thanks!

I have never activated an offensive lineman, but played against it many times. I think it does help some especially if you put abilities on your center. But, I don't think it helps enough. If you have no abilities on your WRs then you may have an issue. Without abilities most WRs play about the same (which ain't great). If you want to try abilities on an offensive lineman consider taking them off your QB. If you are run heavy abilities are not must on the QB. Jackson has good throw power stock. This would allow you to have a WR, RB and OL. The activated WR will keep the defense honest. I often don't use QB abilities in WL and it works out well... sometimes. End of the day pick a setup that allows you to have the most fun.

I went protected on GT Cam and Pin-n-pull and inside zone on both Barry and GT Bo and activated all three. Seems to work, and when I run I double team the Dt/end to the side I run to and Mike the player that usually gives me the most trouble one whichever play I’m running. Everyone says double team and mike doesn’t work on run plays but I’ve noticed a difference from when I don’t do it! They also says you can’t stack abilities but that’s not true now also. Good luck.

Be aware there are guys that can get their entire dline to just chuck your oline to the side on ALL running plays. Makes the games really REALLY difficult!

I did have outside zone on my RBs also but when I went into my playbook there were only 2 outside zone plays so I changed it!

I liked having abilities on my left tackle, just to combat the stellar d ends in this game. Plus I usually run to my left so it made sense
