What will happen to Redskins Legend cards in Madden 21?
Of course the logo will be blurred - but you make a great point- is there less incentive to produce Washington throwback cards? Only time will tell?
Just like how they do to Reebok logo if they use a 2002-11 photo, that is why most legend arts would rather use 2012-beyond photos.
If not available in the game they may have to be purchased from scalpers.
Don't know if they will do something like the Reebok logo on some legends' look. Maybe will have to see how EA handles like Darrell Green, Ken Houston or Sean Taylor even with the new name change.
Maybe this might reduce chances of a Theme Diamonds for M21 as they can have to not only edit the Reebok logo out, but also the Redskins look on the fan favorite legends.

They’ll probably just blur the logos Which makes sense Given that they’re associated with racism and murder.
They will be designated to their new logo. Like Bruce Mathews played for the oilers but he gets titans chem. Throwback unis are overrated and usually ridiculous.
I suppose they can’t remove the legends, becauae that would mean removing all the current Redskin player cards, like Terry Mclaurin etc. I am ok with the name and logo change, but I don’t want a reduced experience Washing experience in MUt as a result of this because this is happening so close to the game’s release. If this happens, I will skip this year for sure.
They will probably blur out the logos (as they do with tattoos) and just leave the team chems as “Washington” or something along those lines.
As far as the throwback uniforms.. your guess is as good as mine. Personally, I don’t expect them to be in this year’s game.

I understand the name change. Are they going to photoshop the redskins logo off of Sean Taylor? That is a bit extreme. That specific logo was actually designed by Native Americans. I guess my real concern here is they don’t remove the players out of MUT or have a generic card art with no player on it and just name it “Sean Taylor” or “Doug Williams” for example.
Does this also mean no throwback unis for the team over the past 30-40 years?
