Another thing you can try is QB spy your CB1 and manually make your SS cover WR1. If it’s Lamar, first instinct would be to scramble to the right. CB1 should cover quick passes. Everything looks like man coverage. Your opponent won’t expect it.
Assuming that you covered his offense and he has to scramble. I would say use the same play but just pinch in D Line and contain your line. He will see that your line is pinched and will try to scramble as soon as possible. I’m not a pro at any of the new Maddens. So forgive me if this doesn’t work.
Ok cause I've ran 335 wide against along with every thing else in the nickel I can't remember if I spread the line but I know I contained. Thanks boys will put this to good use when I get home !
335 wide. Any cover 3 d out out it works tbh. Spread line, contain and user the deep middle safety

Any suggestions? Thinking maybe if I put a spy on my safties it would stop the underneath scramble but expose me off top.
And yea my entire defense just runs away from him till he crosses the LOS
So the qb spy working for you? I've only tried contain which fails miserably. Literally lost my first super bowl to a guy who did this non stop eith Lamar and Murray smfh gotta find a way to shut it down. Imma try a spy or 2 and see how it goes
It's rough!!! I have my defense on conservative with a spy and these dudes run backwards instead of trying to stop him
In these upper tiers is starting to get on my last nerve. Nothing I do can stop Lamar before he gets out of the back field . And I have j Smith porcher Seau you name it. My d is stacked and I still can not stop him no matter what I do. As soon as I run commit its over the top. Any suggestions please. This is the only play giving me the fits smh
