Why after yesterday TOTW is going to be even worse.
So because of the format change in TOTW this year there wont be any upgrades for those gold players to get an elite card or even a silver card going to an low elite like late last year. After what happen yesterday with all the injuries now the TOTW content just got even worse. Because now all of the ELITE players have gotten hurt and wont be playing for weeks if not the season in some cases. So that back-up player that was a low or mid gold is now going to get alot of playing time. What if they have just 1 break out game and those that have theme teams think sweet that play will get a card and at least when my main player gets tired I dont have a gold being subbed in. Or at least its another elite on KO coverage. An example of a player getting a late TOTW and it being elite is the Titans Tye Smith. He didnt have a card in the game until the week 13 TOTW 82 card for picking up the blocked FG against the Colts and returned it for a TD. For me that was great cause the Titans were lacking in DBs so even though it was just an 82 on the TT it was an 84. But guess what we are going to have any Tye Smiths in TOTW this year because they have blocked everything behind the PU system.
I also feel like this +1 to PU is going to end up being some of the same players every week which will just push more and more people into running the same team all year. I dont know about you but it gets tiring seeing the same players on every team no matter what.
