Madden makes me wish I hated the sport I love. I’ll be migrating from PS4 to Nintendo
My patience has run out. I don’t play Madden because I love Madden, I play Madden because I love the NFL and this is the only game that allows me to put the love I have for the sport into a hands-on activity. I want to interact with the sport beyond watching it be played with my eyes only.
You guys need to understand, a development team failing this consistently at PATCHING is a testament to their ineptitude. At least Bethesda, a company who’s legacy is built on releasing bug-filled games, can use the excuse of “our games are massively-open world, which is why our releases have so many bugs.” The Madden team does not have that excuse. And then when EA patches, they break other things. Another thing they do is they tune things to the extreme. Balance changes should be done very incrementally ffs.
Anyway, I will not be migrating to the PS5 or Xbox Series X because this franchise sucks so bad. While there are a bunch of great games on Xbox and Playstation, my main reason for owning one of those consoles was Madden. I am keeping my PS4 PRO for good, and will play out the rest of M21 because of it, but I will not be buying a future Madden.
Nintendo is coming out with a powerful Switch in about 6 months; I’ll be switching (no pun intended) to that.
Its embarrassing at this point to even admit I actually paid for the MVP Edition.
