Any way to get an outside linebacker at DT? For spy purposes!
You can put a chem on bruce like lockdown or run stop etc and he will get the stat boost but the chem wont count towards the 30/30. So make sure you have chems maxed out on your lineup and plug in bruce as your rushing specialist. This way, you can use any playbook and scheme you want and simply sub bruce as a dt in any formation while you're choosing your play. Works great and gives you flexibility. Only downside is that bruce cannot get a physical chem.
I use a fully chemed Concrete Charlie with sprinter as my spy. Great pursuit/play rec/and length to really disrupt things. His oop is great as well as an extra lineman in certain packages.
YES YOU CAN from any 4-3 formation (never tried on 3-4). Put at RE, use the "LB Rush package" out of any 4-3 formation. Your RE (LB) will now be at DT and your ROLB will be at DE. If you don't know what i mean by "packages" there are plenty of videos showing how to do, its very easy. I use this to put Lawrence Taylor as DT with Clowney on the edge and they blow people's o-lines up.
Edit: Also works on many Nickel formations such as Normal. Not all have "LB rush" option, though.
Also for 4-3, your DT2 will be out, so it goes LB RE DT LE

You lose chem on Irvin though correct? Might need to mess around with it and see if I notice a difference.

I want a guy there to spy with decent catching. Watt has 80+ catching I may have to pony up for his 95
