I need some tips.
I’m by no means good at H2H. Just started playing it for HR last year and now full time this year. Just some advice from someone that is new to H2H but have had winning records in WL each time this year here are some simple things I’ve found helps me.
1) Let them screw up, don’t screw up yourself. For me on defense it’s no big plays and make them go 10+ play drives. Defense is hard right now so I’ve found the best strategy is to adjust in drive but don’t let them go over the top. If someone can go 30+ plays on offense for 3 scores than so be it. Offense, no picks and don’t get behind the chains. Stay with what you know.
2) When you lose, don’t blame the game but try to learn. Every game I lose I try to think back why I lost and what I can do next time. Was I struggling to beat press man? Let’s think about and practice running and man beaters with different combos and sets. Did I get killed by certain route combos? Next time I play solo battles I’m practicing presnap adjustment combos that might work. Did I get screwed on a bad fumble or INT? Maybe I think about my approach, did I really need to throw that ball given the circumstances.
3) Learn from your opponent, especially good ones. I message GG to everyone and have found some really cool guys I’ve had post game convos with. Learned a lot from talking to them and just taking bits of things they were doing to add to my game.
Man I try too, game seems so slanted against me it’s not even funny at times. Like the game I just lost, lost to a last second Feild goal but the game robbed me out of 2 tds... it is infuriating
Not to mention hit sticking a scrambling qb twice. This guy should not even been in the game. Worst thing he even won
Understand before kickoff...if I win I'm awesome...if I loose then the Gods determined the other person needed the win more then me...I'm happy for them and know it was not my fault. Oh...and it's a game...but still...
I go on bad runs. It happens. When I start to fumble, I run all my games on Conservative Ball Carrier. And I splurged for Focused Kicker on full Morten Andersen to not miss kicks. I just try not to lose due to fluke.
There’s fucking bum assist so bad this year. Bennett is smoking my cbs in this game, while I throw it deep to a plus 4 speed Cooks and the ball gets picked bc Cooks isn’t as fast as Drew Bennett!!!
I can not figure the fuck out how I’m losing. I’m losing to things out of my control. Fumbles even on conservative weird ass QB throws that tend to be picked taking away my possessions. Weird server issues that allow things to happen that should not. Inconsistency with kick meter. How do you guys prevent this, how do you not get upset and how do you overcome this. It’s infuriating to waste the last two mins to kick a 20 yard fg for the win and get zero button input.
