Do you/should you power up every card?

Question in title; thoughts on this? I’m always conflicted on whether to power up a card or not whether I add abilities or not. For example I’m gonna purchase a Taylor Mays soon but will run him without abilities; should I power him up still or no?

If you’re planning on 2 or more upgrades, yes. If not, no.

If they’re gonna be on my team most of the year, yeah. Lawrence taylor/Deion/Khalil Mack/Jamal adams/Mays/derwin these guys get upgraded all year and are MUT staples, so are powered up and stay that way even if they become outdated because the next card is coming soon

NO! Training...although cheaper, should only be used on cards you are going to keep long term. In the early months, players change their teams so frequently that you waste training powering up / down cards. I only power up cards that I am going to keep more than a few months for my theme team or if I want to use a power up pass.

I do.

I run a TT and only power up cards I know I'm committing to long term.

Depends. I personally am running a 49ers TT (original, I know) so I have to PU guys to get the team chems.

So instead of +1 speed it's actually +3 though

I power up most of my team but it’s a theme team so I’ll be running guys like jaire Alexander Aaron Rodgers devante Adams ETC. all season long.

For Taylor Mays I probably wouldn’t power him up just because the power up card is 300k plus all the training you’re likely looking at a 400-450k investment for 1+ overall

That is what I was leaning towards; just want to make sure I’m not missing out on too much not adding those +1s
