Is Edge Protector worth it still?
with everyone migrating to double or nothing, and that's not classified as being an elite edge threat, edge protector isn't really doing anything right now.
Right now secure protector or all day is good because there are not many edge threats.
I don't use it anymore but the occasional times I play edge threat, I get demolished
It's a counter for edge threat. I havent seen many people running edge threat anymore due to its cost
I have edge protector and recently my o line been getting destroyed by regular 3 or 4 man pass rush.
This. Mine too. And the average overall of my offensive line is 89. So theyre not bums. And the ends/d tackles getting to me aren't even the ones you'd think such as LT, Garrett, Donald, etc. I think one of them is some white dude with the last name Smith or Crosby.
Have Edge protector on my tackles. They get beat by ends without edge threat, sometimes consistently throughout the same game. Then on the flip tip, I have edge threat on my LT, and going against tackles without edge protector, I'm lucky if he gets one sack. My opponent's ends and d-line sometimes are straight up shredding my offensive line... Perhaps this is that disengage glitch bullshit though. Like I'm dropping back 1-2 seconds after snap, and have someone in my face.
