Why is MUT so boring rn?
I’m losing interest my self, 92 overall and 10 million coins but no motivation to play
3-3-5 man coverage every play on defense. Gun bunch or strong formation on offense. I love how creative everyone is in this game. Meta meta meta! I’ll never get another madden after this year cuz this shit will never go away. How tf do you even have a meta in a sports game? Youtubers and pros will always ruin this game. There are no chess matches, it’s now been watered down to who can withstand and beat the cheese. So much fun. Lmao
It is kinda boring. Been having more fun in the menus than I have playing the game lol
When you have a theme team, you patiently wait for upgrades. Sometimes one position will constantly get an upgrade while key spots are left alone. For instance, Panthers one again keep getting defensive lineman when they could use another WR (Moore or Samuel) and a QB (PJ Walker would be amazing)
Some of us actually committed to our favorite teams. Eg. Revis Island on my Pats TT where I had no room for DRC, Cro or PP.
If you h2h guys are bored imagine how us solo players feel, waiting for promos to have something to do but with this promo they basically tell us to fuck ourselves and exclude us from participating.

They need to make every promo have a player from every team
The problem with MUT is how they try to stretch things out over time and the limited amount of players to choose from
Same here lately. I have a disgusting amount of coins with nothing to upgrade. Just do a few daily solos and buy a 500 coin pack for the daily rewards sell a few cards from binder and log off. Ive been playing nothing but Mut since Madden 15 and usually play it all the way through so madden in general is just getting boring for me.

When you are striving to have a god squad the game will be boring. As a theme team player, I am having a lot of fun with my Saints squad. Waiting to see who gets an item and using it when they do is great. I was able to get to 18 wins in WL this weekend after not playing it for a minute
Because its the same mut from the last 3 years do solos and play head 2 head thats all there is to do. I get on play my daily solos, lab, then get ready for weekend league.
Muts boring for me right now cause none of my favorite players have came out
Journey was SO boring, I liked getting a free GT but the 2 NFL 100 parts took FOREVER and were SUPER boring. Gauntlet was pretty fun and they should add some new cards that aren't duplicates of other cards
As mentioned below, run a TT as an alternative. I switch between Bears. Cards, and Bolts. I use their playbooks too, which really helps keeping it fresh. And they all have different strengths and weaknesses.
A key note here - when I play online, I don’t care if I win or lose, as long as it’s a decent game. Losing a good game is more enjoyable to me than winning a game where you’re just doing the same thing over and over.
do what im doing bro, make a burner account and do something completely different, i have a all gold team, just have the fastest ppl i can find at positions that arent over a 80 overall, and have 81 justin herbert with set feet lead, and im making it a challenge to win games with a budget squad like that, the fun part is beating some of those 90 overalls and watching them rage, also i dont get mad at losing or bullshit bc i already know my team sucks lol. tbh tho if you just put all the fast players on the field you cant tell a huge difference
Well, you nailed it. Every card is basically the same +1/-1. This means that unless you're running the right Theme Team, most new cards are totally irrelevant for you. Not to mention the only stat that ever seems to matter for most cards is speed. Everything else seems minor by comparison. So...unless the card is breaking a speed barrier (or goes on your Theme Team for +spd) then... it's useless. The ability system is unbalanced meaning that most archetypes are totally useless. The result of which is that only certain cards are good enough to bother using. Even less relevant new cards then. The other problem, then, is that given the unbalanced abilities system, you'll end up putting the same abilities on your cards as everyone else. So everybody's teams will basically be the same. The playbook situation is also unbalanced. You can be dominant by calling just 4-5 plays all game long on offense. That gets boring really fast.
So... Yeah. It's boring because the game is poorly designed (speed over everything, unbalanced abilities system, unbalanced playbooks) and the cards are all the same.
Every team looks/plays the same, new cards that come out are no must-haves but rather copies of others that are already in the game (eg. why would i want to get Revis over DRC, Cro or Pat Pete?) Also missing stuff to grind like Journey or especially Gauntlet. I just hop on the game for WL and leave rn.
