Would you play Linebackers if.........?
By making safeties actually have issues defending run against a bunch of guys way bigger and stronger over and over.
Buff LBs ability to stop the run, and GREATLY nerf safeties’ ability to stop the run.
Exactly, LBs are there to stop the run and not make jumping interceptions. Some safeties are there to make big stops against the run but mostly they're there to play coverage
Just a thought with no jumping staying the same would people play LB if they had a bigger hit probability to create more fumble giving another gameplay strategy? Or how would you fix LB?
