I fully expect for there to be a Series 2 of Team Diamonds. I would not expect it to be any sooner than February. With that being said, Series 1 Diamonds did not feature any kickers or punters, and I do not expect series 2 to do so either. I 100% expect series 2 diamonds for each team to be a player that is on the side of the ball that is opposite of every team's Series 1 diamond. Example: Keenan McCardell was the Diamond for the Jaguars; therefore, I expect John Henderson to be the Series 2 Diamond.
I also expect the Series 2 Diamond Master to be on defense and offer a team chem for every team, as did Barry. My guess here is a Cornerback. I would have considered MLB (another depth position) if we did not have a Sam Mills. There is probably a chance the player is a DT. My guesses here are Mel Blount, Darrell Green, Ty Law or Alan Page. I expect it to be a legend player not yet in the game, and I think these are the most notable players not yet in the game at their respective positions. I would not put money on these picks.
Anyway, below is my list. Please note, that for my selection criteria I limited MOST players to those that are on the FGA searchable roster.
Master: Mel Blount, Darrell Green or Alan Page
49ers: Garrison Hearst
Bears: Richard Dent
Bengals: Boomer Esiason
Bills: Thurman Thomas
Broncos: Terrell Davis
Browns: Josh Cribbs
Buccaneers: Simeon Rice
Cardinals: Larry Centers
Chargers: Ron Mix
Chiefs: Eric Berry
Colts: Jeff Saturday
Cowboys: Leon Lett
Dolphins: Jason Taylor
Eagles: Sonny Jurgensen (why the hell not; EA's got his rights)
Falcons: Keith Brooking
Giants: Jason Sehorn
Jaguars: John Henderson
Jets: Curtis Martin
Lions: Herman Moore
Packers: Gilbert Brown
Panthers: Muhsin Muhammad
Patriots: Bruce Armstrong
Raiders: Mike Haynes
Rams: Torry Holt
Ravens: Jamal Lewis
Saints: Pat Swilling
Seahawks: Cortez Kennedy
Steelers: James Farrior
Texans: David Carr
Titans: Keith Bulluck
Vikings: Antoine Winfield
Washington: Doug Williams
By the way, none of the above picks are my "WISH LIST" picks. If this was a WISH LIST, it would look much different. As an example, I would prefer Rashean Mathis over John Henderson.
