Pretty hyped about the new mlb show. I hope they keep showdowns and even expand on them, maybe let you use your team on them some AI conquest not the only mode offline you can use your team. The only thing I don’t like about that game and I say it everytime I see a thread about it is bigger low input monitors are so expensive so either you’re either spending a lot, at a tough disadvantage or having to play on like a 27 inch monitor.
Oh and it’s gonna be on Xbox this year. Nice because I like the controller better.

I didnt hear that. Thats great news for baseball fans. I like my PS4, dont have much experience with an xbox. The fact that ps4 had exclusivity on mlb the show was a driving force behind me buying a ps4.
Yep first year on Xbox. Which is nice. I have both and will have both in next gen too because love God of War but I just prefer the Xbox controller so will definitely have the show in Xbox.
The nonsensical lockdown of schools has made it so I have to stay home with my daughter and help with her schooling during the day. When I get back to working full time as a nurse I should be able to buy a next gen rig if I can find one
Yeah, the fact I cant play it on my television is huge negative. I bought a 150$ monitor and it worked great. I'm have been looking at some curved monitors which I'm told are even better yet
Yea man but you get up into those 50 inch and it gets expensive af haha.
Televisions are really coming down in price. Not as fast as I'd like to be honest. There are some electronics that are just immune from the inevitable price drops that come with the aging of technology.
It's true - EA has become a monopoly for american football, they make more and more money with or without improvements - from a business standpoint it doesn't make any sense to address or fix anything. Glad you like MLB The Show though - sounds fun.
Seems like the same old complaints about missing content and not tracking progress. I took almost a year off from madden to decompress and focused on MLB the Show. MLB the Show has a dev team that cares about it's players and doesnt have constant server issues, content delays and relies on actual stick skills instead of meta plays and crazy abilities. Still love madden, but why cant EA put out a product that rivals MLB The Show. Neither one has a true competitor in the marketplace, yet San Diego Studios acts as if they dont put out the best possible product they will go out of business. EA could learn a few things
