Once you enter into the second overtime it becomes sudden death in madden. Sucks, but that's the way it is.

Last night I played a game that went into overtime and my opponent got into fg range. I called timeout to freeze him and he made the kick anyway. It was the first possession, but the game treated it like it was the game winner and the game immediately ended giving him the win without me getting a possession.
