Can anyone explain this (WL sliders)?
It sounds like you're just matching up against better players in WL. Better players will pay attention to the stamina of their RB and QB, which will result in less fumbles.
1-2 fumbles per game is a lot. I get like 1-2 every 5 games, if I'm lucky.
As far as running the ball goes, patience goes a long way. If you're only getting 2-4 ypc, I'm guessing you're sprinting as soon as you get the handoff. Try navigating without hitting turbo, and you'll see it's much easier to get to the hole and sometimes all the way to the second level . There are settle ways to set up your blocks, and sprinting in a cluttered area does the opposite of that.
Maybe your playing better opponents and the increased skill gap explains your worse performance.
Lots of people play on conservative running in WL to prevent fumbles. Happens to me to. And 1-2 fumbles a game is more than i ever have. And i have 2 enforcers on my D
I play regular H2H often and cause anywhere between 1-2 fumbles/game. I have Atwater, Sean Taylor, Jamal Adams, Simmons, and Roy Williams, all with 50/50 run stuff. 4 of them have 99 hit power, the other 96. Played an entire 25 game WL, caused 2 fumbles the whole time. One was on the kickoff, Simmons blasted the FB. The other was Aaron Donald strip sacked Gannon. How on God's green earth do I go from causing 1-2 fumbles/game, to causing only 2 an entire WL? Once I noticed I wasn't creating fumbles, I turned on aggressive hits, and it changed nothing.
Secondly, my run stopping defense is piss poor. I am 50/50 run stuff; my opponents easily get anywhere between 5-10 yards/play. I can have 6 in the box, and none of them stop the run, they all get blocked. I can preguess run in middle or left/right, and even when I preguess the exact play, I've had opponents take it to the house. Also, I've legit had my CPU controlled linemen running into the ballcarrier and not tackling them, i dont know how to explain it, but its like they are programmed not to tackle the runner. Meanwhile when I run the ball and my opponent can have 3 Dlinemen, and 1 LB in the middle, and I am lucky to pick up 2-4 yards?
