For “Madden 21 content will be ending early too” thinkers
This was brought up in a few streams I was in and see a few post on here of people worrying that because we are getting near game ending cards that we might expect Madden content to end early like last year. Here’s 2 reasons why I think you’re wrong or at least have 0 reason to be questioning that kind of stuff.
The overalls of the Most promo players are exactly the same as they were in 19 and 20, so it’s not surprising we’re seeing this many good cards. Plus most of these Super Bowl players I bet won’t be on your team in 3 months (unless you run a TT).
This is the biggest reason why you’re wrong: Not a single person at EA (or the entire world) was ready for a pandemic that caused everyone to become stuck at home. This caused a delay in many cards coming out which they let us know and probably forced some promos to not happen. And I guess also there were new consoles on the way as well as the new Madden. Just really bad timing on all of that. There were just bigger priorities they wanted to work on first.
All I’m trying to say is, stop trying to look ahead 4-6 months from now trying to guess when the game will officially end so you can start preparing for Madden 22, and enjoy what’s currently in the game on a daily basis. I’m not saying for sure content won’t “end early” but if I had to guess I would put a lot of money down that it won’t happen.
