The inconsistencies in this game are headscratching and frustrating.
Illegal touching is out of control right now. I notice it only happens when I'm trying to one play TD cover 3.
Yes. I'm sick of it. I get called for it when I'm usering, and someone does a stop route... And I literally standing next to them, and not even moving.. but if I'm too close to them, flag!
Never and I mean NEVER run goalline against goaline. Also put on conservative ball carrier when passing. A lot less fumbles and you can do celebration glitch to make your ball carrier not be on conservative when you do get an interception and are returning it.

I can address a few of these things but yes there are inconsistencies. For number 2: they probably shader overtop and guess pass and have abilities that you may not have or you may not be doing adjustments they make. for 4, many players including me play on conservative so our QB won’t fumble as much, and usually never so you may want to try that, and as for The run D, you can play run D out of pass D just matters how you set it up. for 5 illegal only activates when your user touches them not when they get caught on a CPU or something like that.

M21 is the most BLEEPed up game i've ever played ... certainly an unfinished product for sure
First off; all of my starters are 96+, so I don't have the best team, but they are not a bunch of bums either. Second, I play a lot of H2H games, basically all I play is madden. Im not the best players, but I've been playing for 4 years and consider myself knowledgeable enough.... So here are the most inconsistent things that seemingly happen to me, but never to my opponents
Run defense; I can run cover 2 zone; have 4 DL and 3 LBs (in the box), and my opponents get 2-6+ yards no problem at all, with the occasional break one to the house. My opponents can run cover 4; 4 DL and 1 LB, and I maybe get 1-2 yards. Goalline: I can run goalline Defense and preguess run up the middle, and most times they score no problem with a run up the middle. They don't run goalline against me when I'm on the 1 yard line, and I run FB dive, and get stuffed in the backfield or LOS.
Man defense: they press, run cover 2 man; I hot route, use HRM, have route tech... and nothing; no one gets open. I run man coverage, and I user the middle with a deep safety to take away any routes that are seemingly getting open via slants/drags; and next thing you know they have 2-3 open options to throw to; sometimes deep for an easy TD.
User Strips: Not often, but it happens. Last WL I used the user strip button a lot... I just wanted to create 1 user strip through all my 25 games.. and I never got one. Meanwhile, one of my opponents on the very first play of one of my games using Ronnie Lott, stripped Dalvin cook. Im not exaggerating when I say that I attempted 10+ user strips/game in the 25 WL games; and couldnt even get it to work once.
QB fumbles: My QB fumbles like his hands are made out of butter... opponents QBs never fumble anymore. Doesnt matter if they are running with Allen, Cunningham, Rodgers, Brady, Gannon... I can't tell you the last time I created a fumble by hitsticking a QB in a H2H match. Meanwhile when I scramble with my QB, its not always a fumble if i get hitsticked, but literally if I take anywhere between 1-3 hits with my QB, its a fumble.
Illegal Touching; I barely get in the way/touch a receiver while usering, and flag! I've had my WRs/TEs getting absolutely raped 10+ yards down the field while running routes and no flag.
CPU tackle angles: If my opponents are running, and get to the 2nd level, my safeties are slow as fuck and take these fucked up angles, where my opponent easily gets around them. When I get to the 2nd level and his CPU controlled safeties come to make a tackle I can seldomly get them to take shit angles/get around them.
Playmaker: my opponent uses playmaker, he gets fast/immediate direction changes, sometimes multiple direction changes and creates amazing separation from my CPU defenders. And no, he doesn't have the AP playmaker on. I use playmaker, and my WRs literally take 2-3 seconds to respond, and hardly ever create separation from opponents CPU players and trying to get them to change their direction 2x, never!
There are probably other things I noticed that frustrate and seem inconsistent, but these are just the ones I noticed often.
