For the release that is claimed to be bad, try running forward as you throw, he has 99 throw on the run and it is a different animation that from my experience is faster. So, if you want to move around before you throw, he's great, but not the best pocket passer in the game. I put Gunslinger, HRM, and long range deadeye, so I don't worry about his deep accuracy. Overall, in between, but mostly the only throws I miss with him are cross-body, so just turn before you throw if you're on the run and you'll be fine.
In the right hands it is an amazing card...users who just wanna run with him gonna have a long day, but use him like a mobile QB or a RB who can throw and I have been torn a new one by this card (more often than not folks wanna just run with him and those are quick games).
He is accurate but does throw the occasional ball that sails over the WR right to the DB. I use play fake on a Ravens 50/50 TT so his short and mid accuracy is spot on. Deep throws can be hit or miss at times but overall he is good. End game QB for me, but again I run a Ravens TT.
He has been super accurate for me. He has thrown some offspeed passes or "changeups" when he was bullet passing. Still completed the pass but that gunslinger zip was not there. Almost like gunslinger did not activate. Motion is not great but I have not noticed it too much because I rol out with him. Throw on the run is amazing.
his throwing motion sucks. Still throws a lot of dots though. I’m just using lamar as a placeholder for favre until he gets upgraded. He’s not bad because he can really bail you out with his legs
He is very good for running and when powered up he has 99 throw on the run and close to 99 throw power so if you like to get out of the pocket he is really good
Terrible. His throwing motion takes forever and he can’t consistently hit the deep throws unless your 50/50 GD maybe? (He would than be at 95 DAC) I used him 50/50 play fake and 40/40 shaker and went right back to Cunningham. At least he has an amazing release and 98 speed is literally 1 less even though Lamar does feel like a Ferrari.

Long range deadeye, 1 ap and fixes lamar's deep throws.
Already had 6 AP on him. That would be 7. Imo that’s just too many AP points. I can’t wait for McNair honestly because he’s a field general and it will cost 5 AP for HRM and GS combined. You really can’t beat that! That’s the most bang for your buck if you will.

Yeah, but I had extra due to taking outside apprentice off my WR for HRM. I don't run any O-line abilities and don't need much on my WR besides my kick returner. Plus, Juke box is only 1 ap on barry sanders.
He's a lot of fun to play with. I run a lot of PA and am more run heavy than most, so he's great. He also feels like 99 speed. I had Cunningham on a Cowboys TT and he didn't feel nearly as fast as Lamar. It's a fun card if you want to try it out
Throwing animation is terrible tbh had better success with Russ
Still not great because he still has that weird throwing motion so there are better cards if you don't rely on mobility.
I could careless about the high speed but how is his throwing abilities? Does he throw dots or is he still not great? Or in between? How's his gunslinger release?
