Well, gentlemen, it's been a long time coming, but on this day 3 years ago, I joined the old Muthead site. I posted a few times, but never really got to know anyone at that time.
One of the fondest memories that I have of the old site was logging in every day for about a month or two trying to build up to get 1 MHC by playing gauntlet and pack simulator. Ah, good times.
I decided to come back on here near the end of Madden 19, but still didn't really know anybody until near the end of Madden 20. During the "Stay and Play" Giveaways, I was able to win a 98 Ed Reed, and that was really where I started to come onto this site more often. I did so because I saw what I could get in game out of the site, and as selfish as that was, that's what happened. Over the next few weeks after that, I started to post threads, comments, questions, and such. I remember winning the last Hump Day Giveaway of Madden 20 from good ol' Ballsy (I finally got that Bolles btw) and that's where I started interacting with more and more people at a greater rate.
I was always at ends with people early on, complaining about the game every day, making comments about people using farm accounts, cheating, buying coins, stuff like that, because I felt that I was always right. Since that point, I've grown as a person and learned to not make such controversial statements.
I really got connected with guys like Ballsy, 55studwell, Bucsallday18, and jamaisvustream just from interacting with them early on constantly. Truthfully, I saw how cool and popular Ballsy was around here, and I wanted to be more like him, so I started making avatars for some people who wanted them. Some guys early on really liked them and I guess word spread, and to this day I still make avatars for consistent customers.
A few months ago, I really got into people complaining about players getting snubbed in certain card releases in game, so I took it upon myself to start making those people's dreams come true of what they want. I made custom cards way back in 2016 in the Madden Mobile Style, so it's not like it's a new thing for me to be doing. More like a revival.
During the TOTY promo, I saw a bunch of people talking about players who got snubbed. I took the opportunity to get my work out there, and it was met with an overwhelming response, and for that I thank you. For those who did not get their requests made yet, I haven't forgot about you. I have a feeling that you'll see them #soon.
Over the past few months I've seen some old friends go, and some new friends come in. themockingjay38, grogu, zuspekt, picle, Haon; y'all were some of my first customers and what really got me started making more stuff around here, and you guys are some of the newer good friends that I have around here, so for that, I thank you.
Now, while I am on the slightly younger side, my work, and the response that it receives on a daily basis, makes me want to get into a Graphic Design career somewhere down the road. Guys like Dazed and AnimalMan encouraging me make me want to keep going with everything right now, so for that, I thank you both.
Qbert, Jamundson, Kan, Ducati, my deal guys. I haven't dealt with you guys in a while, but you are the names that come to mind when I think of my past transactions, so for that, I thank you.
Megells, WDX, Mysterio. What more can I say about y'all? You guys are some of the nicest guys on the site in recent memory. For that, I thank you.
Last but not least, Dirk, MileHigh, Ballsy, PapiChulo. My fellow Broncos Fans. We had our Ups and Downs this season, but the important thing is that we stick together no matter how much our team sucks, and for that I thank you.
For those who I did not personally thank, I am still grateful for you and your presence on this site, and I thank you for all of the good times (and the bad times) that we've shared over the past few years.
