I’ve never quite understood why EA does things this way. I understand that development and preparation teams need to migrate over to the next game but every single year MUT dies a slow awful death when there are so many other ways for it to end.
All year long you’ve been building this team and when the last few pieces finally get released you’ve either already quit or no one really cares. The UL Barry Sanders should be this card anyone who has had him from the beginning should be clamoring for but instead by time he drops no one will be opening packs or playing.
June 1st every year instead of flat out dying why aren’t they releasing insanely hard solos for the single player fans that requires a years worth of work getting your team together to complete. Or for the h2h crowd why not a final house rules or tournament or leaderboard to show off those GTs and crown the best of the year.
It’s just always never made sense to me that 10 months of team building and perfecting your scheme ends in such an unsatisfying way.
