Honest to god, I haven't played MUT since MUT 16 and I'm still here... LOL. I enjoy reading about Madden and hoping that they make actual improvements one day, and I enjoy the community and online friends I grew up with like 7 years ago. Still hang in Sports Discussion to chat during the regular season. It was easy for me to ditch the game of Madden, much much harder for me to let go of this community tho.
Hopefully you didnt buy those bundles before you decided. I have been playing mut since Madden 14 and refunded the game this year before my trial was even up. EA Tiburon needs to feel it in their wallets that treating their player base like pay piggys and just recycling the same game year after year is not acceptable.
I had to quit Maddens 18 and 19 to break my addiction and get it under control. The addiction is very real.

Games trash. Games been trash. I stopped playing last year after a few months, I almost didn't even buy this one cause I knew what it would be and this feels like the exact same game. Even the commentary is the exact same, nothing is different. EA don't give a fuck. This is the time I actually enjoy MUT before it gets outta hand, with the abilities and every players 99 speed and what not but there's nothing different than last year. The team building is my favorite aspect, I don't care about the solos or recycled players or none of that shit it's never bothered me but the gameplay just continues to be the same bullshit. People need to stop wasting money on this horse shit. And no I don't mean the initial buy that ain't shit. It's the money they make off packs. They have zero incentive to make a better game long as they keep making a killing off packs.
They're definitely making it easier...it sure doesnt feel like the first full week of mut. The mut vibes are off, the usual tingles aren't there
I feel pretty much the exact same way. I only played about an hour and a half of the trial, and I've turned the game on each day for the last 3 days and have just stared at the screen for a couple mins before turning it off without doing anything.
And it really doesn't have anything to do with any glitches or anything, I just feel like I've been playing the exact same game for the last few years from mut to franchise mode. And what used to be my favorite game is now a game I got bored of before it even actually released.

Congrats man. This is my first year back I played 25, 15, 16, 17, and 18 spent prolly 6 grand. Luckily this year I bought dynasty and spent 10$ and grinder more solos than I ever have in the past

From mut 15 through April of mut 17. Was really addicted and thought paying would result in me getting the best pulls..boy was I wrong.
They definitely are lacking things to keep you engaged. I’ve played since MUT 10 and been hardcore since 11. I’ve already played multiple other games this week. I know I never played anything but MUT on launch week.
I’m on the exact same boat. Not 8 but 5 years and beginning the 6th. Bought the standard edition and the only packs I plan to buy are the power up passes during Black Friday blitz.
My job is to be negative but Salute to you for even acknowledging that you had an addiction and most importantly for breaking it. The problem with these pack buying ass players is they’re too afraid to admit they have a problem. You’ll never solve the problem if you afraid to admit u have it.
I’ve been playing MUT for roughly 8 years. I spent money every year but one. This year, I told myself I’d buy two bundles to get me started and then be NMS from there on out.
This is the first year I didn’t even use my entire 10 hour trial. The gameplay, the lack of challenges content and prizes, the clear focus on money spenders, the same old legends, the continuous focus on the same stars (even if they didn’t perform last season), and now this glitch….
I’ve logged in a few times and barely played any games. I don’t even care about the daily challenges. This game is ruined for me and I don’t have fun with it anymore. It’s an absolute shame was EA has done with this game.
In any case, just wanted to share that I’m still here, but the addiction is dead
