Best time to buy Pitts over the next 24 hours?
Well, it ended up being a moot point. Pitts' price never settled below 900K, and I wasn't going to spend more than about 800K on him. He must've been CRAZY rare to stay so expensive despite being in packs for five days. Congrats to those that pulled him, though. Might be the best pull of the year.
I could have grabbed him for 800k during the fire fantasy frenzy but did not pull the trigger. I was like... he is in packs for five days... of course he'll get cheaper. Nope. Bought him last night for 935k. He will be going up from this point on until Season 2.

But in all seriousness I don’t think it’s worth the coins. There are quite a few players that cost more than the value they bring to the team and this is one of those cards. And I get that he’s fast but my Khalil Mack will pancake him and get a sack if he even attempts to block. But if I see him getting open now I’ll user my end to cover him. Easy fix. Not a 1mil coin value
Gronk is pretty good; I’ve been using him. But he doesn’t get great separation on his routes at all. Pitts has solid blocking ratings plus he has the top-end Speed to stretch the seams. Oh, and Gronk’s LTD TOTW card is actually more expensive than Pitts. If I can grab Pitts tonight for around 800K, he’ll be a key cog in my offense for a long time. No regrets here.
I use Gronk 93 upgraded in his PU but not his new million coin card lol.
Run Gronk on crossers, flats, zigs, mesh, and ins/outs, anything else is wrong
If you can’t run your TE on posts or corners, that’s what’s wrong. I have Hot Route Master, so I want the flexibility to put my TE on all kids of routes. Pitts is much better for that.
TEs aren’t known for running posts or corners lol. Sounds like you want a WR playing TE. Pitts is your guy. Don’t dare block with him though.
Got him for 927k during fire pack sell off. Thought I overpaid then but had not seen anything lower since
He is a very unique card given he is a TE in a WR body. His speed and uniqueness will keep his price high.
I have Pitts, Engram, Gronk, Charle : lots of great TEs and I wanted to try them all. Charle is very similar btw and way cheaper.
However, if you want Pitts get him now. Price will go higher after out of packs and who knows how long before redux.
The main thing to yank his price would be season 2 where you could get a 95 Pu pass
That Gronk is the best TE IMO. Catches everything and can block anyone. Also 6’6” helps with his high strength for those aggressive catches
Lowest I've seen was like 915k. Depending on who drops tomorrow he may hit mid to high 800's.
Bought him first day at 970k…..haven’t seen a better price yet.
I'm gonna pony up the 1 million to buy him. And just know it's gonna be a sunk cost that I won't recuperate.
That’s what I’m thinking of doing. Blitz has allowed to improve my team a bit and I’m holding onto a fair amount of blitz players and redux players to sell this week. I feel like if I don’t pick him up now I’ll continue as a cautious, NMS player. He could probably be my starter until, at least, the spring.
Best time to buy is now. Once he's out of packs tomorrow, he's definitely gonna rise until a better TE comes along
You missed your window when they dropped fire fantasy packs. Buy him now or wait until they drop a better TE.
