Oh I thought you meant the card art. I believe they use whatever number the player wore the majority of their career. For instance Williams spent 6 seasons with the Texans but only 4 with the Bills. Randall Cunningham wore #12 for the Eagles and every card art shows that but he always wears #7.
Didn't notice when I.powered him up..guessing he was supposed to be Texans but ea gave me him to us because they don't have rights to anymore former bills. Probably the same reason we were one of the 2 teams not to get a totw flashback.
Then why is he wearing his Texans jersey number
