PSA If you haven’t tried it yet….. deep out elite on a TE is very good
Waller with DOE made a catch for me today straight up over the middle of the field and still lit up. He agg caught it against two defenders who sandwiched him and he held on. I’m using HRM.
With how much GS and EA are now most people are lucky to even have enough AP to spare to put an ability on their TE. I like matchup nightmare more on my TE than anything else, but I don't run anything on my TE. They usually catch good with or without abilities. Short in elite is so good but of course they made that 2 AP, I used to run that on GT Calvin last year
Yes...it is very good and I think activitates on any pass play over 20 yards
Anything under 20 yards are usually open and your TE should catch anyway
I run mid out elite on Blake Jarwin and lights up everywhere on the field for some reason. Probaly better for a TE than deep out elite would be
If you already have a HRM Qb on your offense like I do and don’t need TE apprentice on your TE, I highly recommend deep out elite. Even though most people think of it as a WR ability, it works wonders on routes like deep crossers/posts. It’s 1 AP on vertical threat archetypes too. My waller has been making many more contested catches since putting deep out on him.
