What makes a great Madden player and rank yourself from 1-10.
I would love to be an elite player especially to be good enough to make some money but unfortunately I'm probably a 6 out of 10. I'm sure all the elite and pro players know all the big glitches and how to take advantage of the ai but what really makes someone an elite player aside from just using the cheapness of the game? To me being able to make the best reads,make quick decisions, anticipate what your opponent will do on both offense and defense, understanding how the zones work and how to get a receiver open and just being faster mentally at the game. Like how some players are super good at Pac-Man or any other game. I'm sure not all the pro players started out as elite but I'm also sure none of them started out bad at the game and it just came to them quicker than others. The past two years I've improved at the game alot and started utilizing aspects of the game that I never ever used like adjustments on both sides of the ball,being better at usering, learning to read and attack defenses,learning how the different routes worked,using a playbooks full potential and when to call certain plays and when not to,learning patience and pocket presence....etc. The strategy aspect really can be underrated in Madden. I also believe you should learn all or as many of the glitch plays and ways the ai can be manipulated and how to counter those things cause we all know you will definitely run into players taking advantage of things like that. It can be tricky trying to improve at this game and it usually has very little to do with how high a card is rated and everything to do with how you play and the decisions you make on the field. On just about every play especially passing plays there is at least one right or best decision that you can make for instance I had to break myself from just targeting one read even if they were covered which usually resulted in an interception, usually someone is open on just about every play. I also have the belief that your opponent can't do anything that you can't do. I just feel like either you got it or you don't. I'm not a scrub and can put up a good fight with alot of players but there are times when the skill gap is very apparent it my opponent is much more savvy at Meta tactics.
