Acrobat ability is one of the the biggest examples of DDA in weekend league

So I made the decision to voluntary increase my stress level and play weekend league

I started out good, was about 13-7 over 3 days and on a 4 game winstreak

I played a team I should have beat, I have mostly 99s and they were rocking a few 97/98s

All my DBS have 99 speed, 99 coverage and acrobat and I mostly play man coverage

The guy I played was running crossers, which I picked up on and would put man coverage on the 2 crossers with my sub nickle DBs and LB

Each time, the DB would have perfect coverage and be glued to the crosser...yet acrobat would never light up...not once

Yet my opponent got a diving acrobat catch that on a CPU zone defender that covered like a 5 yard distance instantly

Conclusion...Acrobat's randomless allows EA to sneakily add DDA to Weekend League. I'm sure they do it with other abilities, I just noticed it on Acrobat, as its easy to tell when it lights up

What EA should do is fix Acrobat...make it 4-5 ability points, but guarantee it light up every play...instead of random , which allows DDA

Ok, so whats your reasoning behind acrobat only lighting up on certain plays?

I agree with you that ability activation is not consistent at all...like most of these post (where your abilities didn't work, but your opponent's did) I often wonder...how many (if any) of your wins were your abilities lighting up and your opponent's weren't? Let's say for the sake of this post DDA exists (don't know or care if it really does)...wouldn't it make sense for it to work both ways? Sometimes EA screws you and sometimes EA blesses you? I think I have read one (maybe two) posts in the last two years where someone posts how the game screwed their opponent out of a win by putting the thumb on the scale to benefit them. Now...I'm guessing if you are one of the best out there (and maybe you are) then I could see where the breaks would always go against you (never for you)...but I would also suspect the best out there overcome whatever the game is doing and continue to drive on. I'm one who will quickly say...I suck...so I count on EA having mercy on me and helping me out. I get far more EA help than my opponents. Roll with the punches and know...It's (what "it"s") in the game.

It is easy to track these things and it has been done. Ability activation, fumbles, DBs dropping uncontested picks, QBs sailing passes with no pressure less than 20 yards away... Easy to track these things :). Also the easiest thing to track that has no possible retaliation for DDA/slider deniers is simply the coin flip or home vs away.

If you have defer picked there is no mathematical reason other than a mechanism like DDA that would make it where you are receiving 70-80% of the games over the course of 50+ games. You have to think a small percentage of people don't have settings (we have tested this too and it is around 10-15% in our ELO bracket) so after 50 games you should have ~55% of the coin flips won at a minimum. Winning only ~25% in large samples (some over 150 games) and over multiple accounts is basically impossible. One calculation we did required a simulation of about a billion people playing madden for 100 years to make ONE of the situations happen once without coding interference (sliders/DDA). We also have clips from at least 6-7 youtubers randomly talking about how they always receive first for a huge majority of their WL games - just in case the deniers deny data.

We have big brained this to take account of the people with motives. For some data we have there is no rebuttal. We can post the chances of losing a coin flip on a mathematical site - over 5 accounts and at least 50 games on each - and see the 1 in a trillion odds.

I'm sure it does help me on games I win, equal to when it harms me on games I lose

The point I was trying to make is I want it consistent.

Ability needs to be removed..it bails too many ppl out

Acrobat Dda the worst. When I get to a 4-5game win streak, I start running the ball, because every throw is gonna get acrobat picked and Cost you the game. I tend to play tight games historically and wait for my opponent to lose the game… acrobat dda makes that impossible

Someone else finally understands

dudeman768

Most people won’t. I bet every person that disagrees has never won 5 games in a row. So from their perspective, they don’t and likely will never see it. Frankly, they are the ones getting dda help all the time and getting bailed out. That is why it is pointless to argue with them.

Next time press Y at the right time and the ball will warp straight to your DBs.

Offer evidence and a solution and all the anonymous keyboard warriors downvote it

The downvotes on this thread probably love DDA...LOL

Are you really surprised though, lol

Just take em in stride and stress lees

Also, I have a screenshot saved on my xbox of a ball going right through Ed Reed's head, although not sure how to upload photos on this site
