Why are Solo Battles gated?

I was forced to play 2 H2H games instead. Both of my opponents literally called Cover 3 Sky 100 percent of the time. Is that the new Meta? Thanks for the 2 easy wins, ran all over both of them.

They decided it was too inconvenient to make an intern get up at 6am to reboot the server farm, so they let them do it in the middle of the day now. RIP.

I just literally got off my first solo battle game and after I finished the rest of the games vanished like wtf
