Strong safeties at linebacker still the move?

I was curious about this after the early info

I use a LB as my non user when I’m unsure if they’ll run or not. He’s make plays in the passing game too, jumping just fine. My defense is fine mixing and matching depending on my opponents.

Actual LBs still don’t jump. They are ore of a liability in the pass game than safeties are in the run game. I’m using Kam & Core Elite Derwin James as my sub-LBs and doing fine.

I read something a few weeks back that this year they would be adding a bigger hit (can’t remember what stats) that would dramatically reduce Safety’s when put in at LB. Haven’t tried it myself.

I'm running two OLB at S-LB and they are doing just fine.
