I’m running the Bengals defense, what play covers the middle of the field about 6-10 yards above the LOS?

I’m getting shredded for about 6-10 yards past the LOS a ton. Can someone help or recommend anything? This is just solo battles, but they are still tearing me up. Maybe I need a new defense? Also, do I need to make any adjustments pre snap, obviously I’m not that great of a player so any help I’d appreciate.

Try this: https://huddle.gg/23/playbooks/305/formations/11203/play/101748/

User one of the blitzing sub-LBs….but don’t blitz them. Drop your user back in coverage and double the HB or TE. This will give you user experience, but you really have no coverage responsibility…so if you screw up a computer player should be in the area to keep it from being disastrous. You will make mistakes, but keep practicing roaming the middle. This defense will also bring solid pressure as you have 5 rushing…from time to time you can also blitz your user…spy the QB if they are a runner…just roam around with your user and if nothing else get in the way. It will come to ya. I’m an old dude myself…so vision, reaction time and blood pressure ain’t what it was…so I make it as easy as possible and focus on the learning and not the win. You got this.

Your user. That’s your responsibility. The middle of the field.

Not when I used the DT. Cause I suck at use ring anything else

Then I would run man with 6 guys total blitzing out of a nickel formation and pray

Jhendry38

Hahaha that’s what I mostly do man 🤣🤣

RazonHell22

You can run one of the META blitzes to easily beat solos or any yellow zones and set your zone drops to 5 yards

Jhendry38

What is yellow zones bro? I’m just a casual player not good enough for h2h, so I don’t do any pre snap stuff🤷🏻‍♂️

mikeys1979

You can try cover 1, and your using that yellow vertical hook with your user

Jhendry38

I always user the DT, because my old butt is dern near blind and my reflexes are a thing in the past 🤣

Dante88

Practice usering still. You just being there can make him hesitate or look somewhere else

Jhendry38

Ok will do, thanks bro.

Shade inside. Always pass commit or guess pass when you see your opponent got routing recievers or obvious situations
