I absolutely hate that there are no power ups this year
I would be more inclined to pay these crazy prices for cards if I knew I was working towards something and the card would stick with me for the long haul. I need the 88 Josh Allen card in order to get the 91, 95, then eventually 99. But now it doesn’t feel like there’s any incentive to pay the big prices up front knowing that if I drop 800k on Jordan Poyer I’m just dumping the card at the end of his time.
If the options are spending tons of coin obtaining training for power ups or this current system now where you need tons of coin for the card itself. I’m going with the power up. At least then I get some PUPs.
