The weekend before last I found myself just completely bored of the game. This doesn't happen this early on for me, but I was just bored. After the initial grind to get a 40 legends team, the game was just too easy to amass coins. When new cards came out you could basically get that card next to free from selling who it replaced.. I had stopped even logging on for the 5 minutes to do the daily, so I did something youre not allowed to talk about on here. To cut this short, I now have a team that's bound, be it from season rewards, or from the legends I powered down to where you have the 2nd highest card as a bound card. I do have a few cards I won also. I went from 8 digits of coins to 17k coins.
I went from Rodgers to Plunkett, rb is 88 Patterson, wrs are 91 monk and jerry, with aka calvin(won that card). My oline went from the best at every spot, to the bound campus heros ones, Jeff saturdays power up card, and anderson(won that card) at rt. Casper at te with campus hero Jackson as his back up.
Ed reeds 90, and pola moa at fs and ss. The free 90 totw ware at rolb, the 2 heritage bnd oop guys at mlbs, and banks bnd 87 lolb. I did the aka thing and picked slay, have deion and St-Juste as cbs. My dline is full kearse(won him) 89 fridge, Siragusa, and adams oop at re.
I've gotten thrashed more than a few times, which im not accustomed to, but you know what? The game is fun now. I have to dig deep into play books. I don't have any bail out plays because my squad doesn't have the speed. Every game is intense. Some takeaways I have from this is that legends theme team ruins the game. Those people who say oline all basically play the same are dead wrong... trust me. You play the same team over and over when you're in legends and are good at champions. You know you're getting multiple top tier cards every week. It becomes redundant faster than previous years. By doing what I've done, everything is way more fun, and the rewards I scoffed at before now have value to me. I got a 35k coin Reward earlier and I was like hell yeah. Has anyone else done this, this year or prior? Did it rejuvenate the game for you?
