runoff elite scheme?
The WR is supposed to run upfield that is the entire purpose of the ability. The defender is supposed to follow him to clear the side for your RB. I believe it works best against Man Coverage.
The ability is good but I would only use it on 0 AP guys and combine it with nasty streak and honorary lineman.
Tried this and doesn’t work against zone defense schemes. You will get tfl almost every play if you try to bounce outside. Doesn’t work every play against man either.

I’m thinking this ability only works when the defense is in man coverage from what I can tell. May be better just to have WR’s that can block…
I got it to work on a couple of specific plays. I’m going to experiment in practice mode and see if I can figure out some rhyme or reasoning.
In for an answer. My (vague) understanding is if the WR is on a streak pattern. Might be you have to manually hot route the player that you want it to activate on prior to the play? I hope not. Better clarification would be nice.

Anyone come up with a runing scheme based around the Runoff Elite ability? I went and got three WR and put the ability on them. Doesn’t seem to be activating, they just run upfield and block like normal. Is there some trick to getting Runoff Elite to activate? Does it need to be a certain play type? Or is it broken? Thanks!
