The purpose of this promo is to devalue your Team Builder cards before dropping more MVPs.
I’m sure EA though most of the first round of MVPs would be a smashing hit.
I’m sure they thought the first batch of the 2nd round of MVPs was going to kill it.
Well EA the market has spoken. We didn’t really care about the first batch. Bought the players we wanted from the combine and the MVPs.
The MVPs releases on Friday were just worthless. That’s why nobody wanted them and the cost of them shot into the 300k’s. Instead of the 450-550k range.
That then drove down the price of the 92-95 TB’s.
Some people were smart to buy them up cheap in anticipation of the next MVPs that get released.
However, EA wasn’t having it. So they released this promo to suck the idiots out of their coins and scouts, maybe get the people that bought up cheap TB’s to freak out and sell their TBs for a loss.
I don't think scouts are going anything anytime soon so this type of stuff will continue all year.
