Get a Player Pack Probability
First, I want to say that value wise I think the Get a Player pack is the best pack in the game. No, it is not a pack that will yield cards that will break your lineups at this point in the season. Coins can still be made from this pack, but takes time, so you are not going to get "MUT rich" off of these packs either. Personally, I like opening packs and this pack makes opening packs feasible.
So I have opened and tracked five-hundred Get a Player pack openings from Series 6. I usually like to open one-thousand packs before I consider the sample size large enough. I just did not have time this weekend to open more packs.
EA lists four probability ranges: 62+ - 100% 70+ - 37% 75+ - 13% 80+ - 3.3%
The first range is obviously a given. Every card purchased was in the 62+ range.
The second range said to expect 37% for cards 70+ OVR. I came in at 35.6%. So out of 500 packs, I was expecting 185 cards (500 * .37) but only pulled 178. So overall this range was fairly accurate. Basically I received seven silver cards that should have been gold or elite.

Yesterday I pulled an 87 Legends Willie Mcginest and a 86 ovr Team builders card back to back.
87 overall is the highest I’ve pulled so far this year from those packs.
When packs are hitting they will usually give you good power ups that are expensive or good golds that are harder to find at that time.
Yesterday I also got on a nice streak where it kept throwing power ups at me.
I pulled the O’Neil PU tackle for the vikes for 500 coins and sold it for 18k
The 500 Get a players are great. While you’re not gonna to strike it rich like you said, you can still get good value pulls.
Yesterday I pulled an 87 Legends Willie Mcginest and a 86 ovr Team builders card back to back.
87 overall is the highest I’ve pulled so far this year from those packs.

Gags have been good to me all year when i was still playing, allways hot n cold but mostly not bad.

Most definitely a great strategy. Pulled multiple Lamar PU's and made a ton of coins.
