Be intellectually honest-Do you get mad when someone criticizes Madden?
At least your question brought out the truth on why this game continues to get worse and worse. Too many people accept mediocrity.
And before people say, “if you don’t like it quit”. Remember this game has a certain addictive quality to it. Based on the gameplay and functionality of this game, the addiction part is the main thing EA works on. It’s the reason people blow thousands of dollars that should be in their savings account on packs. It’s the reason someone making $7 an hour blows the last $100 in their account for fake players and pinch pennies for the next week until they get paid again. Its the reason I’ve seen no less than 3 people say they’re in big credit card debt from this game. It’s a sickness for sure.
So people are bored, log on, play for an hour, come to the forum, say this game sucks and then move on until tomorrow.
I just don't really care. But the ones that complain about every little thing that really isn't a problem at all tend to annoy me.

EA as a company is out to maximize profits with minimal expense and effort. You can't really blame them for that. I always have the lowest expectations for this company and therefore I'm rarely disappointed.
Madden is exactly what one can expect with zero competition. That's why we have laws against monopolies.

I love football and this could be such a great game if it was done right. I love team building and I love the mix of current players with the old Legends.
I guess my frustration with Madden comes in when things come up and it appears that EA is more interested in manipulating the consumer into trying to bleed every last cent they can from us, as opposed to investing back into the game and trying to make this a great gaming experience.
They seem to do just enough to keep most of us hooked, but at the same time mess things up to make a lot of us frustrated.
I don't mind the legitimate complaints. A lot of us spend good money on this game and have a right to let them know of our dissatisfaction if they fail to deliver.
I don't go for the complain just to complain threads or the complaint threads when you have to win something (House Rules) through competition and guys think its too hard. Sometimes you have to fight and work for those rewards......

Worse thing I heard is that you can’t use power ups in sets? What’s that about?

Just hate complaining threads. I do it when I am playing to myself not on forums.
Every year it justifiably draws criticism. Madden is like the little Dutch boy with his finger in the leaking dike, he stops one leak and another appears. EA just moves the bugs around and AI flaws around year-to-year, all the while adjusting rules to make it harder to go NMS, all while ignoring Franchise because they haven't figured out how to milk us for micro-transactions there yet.

I voted no, but not for the reason listed. It's just a game, so have fun. There are certainly plenty of things to be critical of, but it shouldn't affect you personally whether those flaws annoy someone else or not.
This game was better 4 years ago when it was near its peek in hype and users. It was great back then! EA wasn't ban happy, MHC was the sh*t which allowed u to carry over coin year after year, the community kissed each others butt for feedback and would give out MHC and players as soon as they came out, not at the end of the year or promo. TMM mattered then cause the hype around the game was so huge coin selling and scammers were a bigger problem. EA killed it all by banning people for anything even farms and locking people into powerups which made moving players less appealing

This is how I feel as well.
complaint threads about like “DDA screwed me!” ..... yeah no. Randomness in football happens. I think some people think DDA means that there should never be any discrepancies, all plays should be exactly the same each time
