Figuring Out Proper Archetypes For Your Team
Vertical offense needs speed from receivers, but right now in muts current state you wanna heavy focus on route running because getting 90 zone or man is not easy to do. Use a halfback depending on what you like to run, I mainly use a speed back and do outside runs, but a lot of people like to run inside zone with a power back
I’m not new to Madden, but I’m not a veteran either. I know that I run an Eagles Vertical offense and a 4-3 Attacking defense. I know what types of plays each scheme utilizes, but I’m not sure on the best player types to run them. For example, whether to use Route Running, Speed or Possession type of WR in each spot. Or a Power or Speed HB.
Does anyone have any good links that explain how to know what type of each position best fits your scheme? My basic method has been highest OVR at each position, but results are spotty. If I can figure out what stats to look at when choosing each player, I feel like it would be very helpful.
