Escape Artist is a Joke
Played young a few times already and it was a nightmare!!!!! I think Vick is coming for most feared and I might quit h2h then lol
LMAO. I’m DYING at the first clip of Young in the YouTube video. Outruns Von Miller 35 yards behind the LOS, comes back, absolutely crutches LT, then after running about 80 yards total already, throws a perfect dot mid stride across his body 50 yards downfield LMAO. It’s so funny we still buy this game.

Who asked for superhero abilities in our football sim anyways? I don't remember constant posts on reddit/muthead with people begging for EA to do that. Pretty sure most people were asking for a more balanced and realistic gameplay and a more intuitive AI. Funnily enough people were declaring that M20 would be the best Madden yet and that mobile QBs would finally be balanced and the game would be more realistic. Instead we have superhero abilities, broken zones, and mobile QB's are more powerful than ever.

Good points. I thought we would get Vick this week instead of young, but that they would make him throw more inconsistently to balance it. Guess it doesn’t matter now. If that happens people will just use young instead.

Escape artist boosts an QB with 80+ speed to max speed behind the LOS. In fact they go even faster than a 99 speed QB without escape artist would. So Vick won't even be faster behind the LOS than Young is now, though I imagine he will be much faster once he crosses the LOS cause it doesn't look like Escape Artist boosts speed as much or at all once they cross the LOS.
So when Vick does come out, unless he has god awful accuracy across the board, he will essentially be the Meta and those not using him will be at a massive disadvantage.
