Does EA test this game before they put it out?

There was a DC Friday night football that had to be played over off camera tonight on Fnf there’s no shame anymore.they used to have kinks worked out prior to mcs.this year who knows?
They are on deadline. I guarantee you on release they are already aware of most issues and working on a series of patches. Online makes patching to cheap and easy for them, not like the old days.

I would think it’s a negative. I mean the double click plays was incredibly obvious after the patch and that should have been an easy catch. Either that or there testers are really bad. They should be testing it before releasing patches at least.

So I’ve been playing mut for years and I enjoy playing it most of the time and just accept the game for what it is. However I am wondering, how extensive is the testing before they put out the game? I mean we have a broken top 3 players on mut, disconnect issues all over the place, zone don’t react sometimes, user does not react sometimes, etc.. It’s just hard for me to fathom how a company as big as EA can’t put out a madden game that doesn’t have to be patched 100 times and then by the time they are done patching it the game ends up being worse and next thing you know madden 21 is coming out. Like I said I enjoy the game because I enjoy nfl football and I will continue to play it, you can say I’m complaining but I am genuinely curious as to how it is possible to release a game with this many screw ups year after year?
