Comparison in case anyone is wondering:

It looks like Elway is a much pass blocker than Young. Thats really handy ability for a qb

awareness is weighted too heavily for so many positions
Especially for qb, since you are controlling him during a pass play or he is having no impact during a running play.
even if stats were equal one can get escape artist and move faster than a 99 speed qb that doesn't have it.
If you compare each card you will see EA tanks or holds one back by dropping inconsequential ratings.

theres that too...
Quote from papichulo2358 >> Quote from popitforpoppa >> Honestly if you put all the stats that they have into create a players steve young will have a way higher overall . Ea always pads tf out of players stats with dumb stuff like kick power and impact block for like QBs to make them technically be a 90 but play like butt cheeks

Kick power would have zero impact on a QB's OVR rating.

not talking about real life bruh. go look at the stats on the two cards, if elway is a 90, then young should be a 92/93

Young is better in every aspect and plays amazing. someone who has a grasp of EA's rating system please tell me how they are both 90 rated players.
