Gents-
Let me open with I did not keep the fancy stats about number of power up pulls, etc.
I did the Pack Grind this weekend to get to Legend status before the first big promo and wanted to let you know that I made about 25k in coins opening 500+ get a player packs (500 coins each). It took about three hours.
Definately worth it for the NMS crew.
This has been a known coin making method from day one. Worked all year last year and will only get better as the pack odds improve.
I open 100 at a time which costs 50K and takes about 20 minutes.
I sell any power up that I get. Everything else goes into exchange sets unless it is a low gold that sells for a lot of coins. The hope is to get some power ups via those exchange sets. I am not sure how much the power ups move for, but there were some power ups at the beginning of the game that if you pulled them they would essentially pay for the entire bundle of 100 packs on their own. High golds were selling well. I imagine specific ones sell even better now with the Theme Builders that are out.
The cool thing is that the exchange packs count in your pack totals. So if you get 66 low silvers (which is about what I averaged), you get an additional 33 packs just from those exchange sets.
I had one time where I did not make coins and it was a loss of less than 50 coins. I intend to open 100 packs later to see how it goes. My current coin making method is dying down and I think this route may be faster now.
I wouldnt recommend for NMS Legend tier rewards prolly gonna be 2 or 3 random lower tier packs instead of 1.
Sounds about right.
I have found that it typically takes about 20 minutes to open 100 packs.
