They released a broken game, killed the franchise, then created a dumb version of the game as a mobile app and turned it into loot box central with massive time sinks you could bypass by spending money.
This may be EAs move here, to kill xbox/ps4/pc madden and force us all into some super crappy mobile game where we give them a few bucks here and there and they don't ever have to monitor anything....all while their license prevents anyone else from making a game.
It is the only thing that explains the sh*tshow that is Madden 20. No one could unintentionally make the game this bad.
I wish I could bypass the time sink by spending money. In MUT, the ONLY way to get the best rewards is by spending hundreds of hours grinding solos.
Ea renewed the deal thru 2020... Read about that awhile back and got mad all over again ... There's a reason why 2k isn't diving head first back inti football .
Ea is not gonna let that go because they get away with shit like today and still make money.. I can't believe I watched YouTubers pull packs today while everything was down except the store ... Great way to make a point

Well, they no longer have an exclusive license (it expired in 2013). The exclusive agreement they did have makes any company trying to break into NFL licensed game virtually impossible to do so at this point. Any competing company would have to get developers, actually develop gameplay, and pay licensing fees to the NFL and NFLPA (just because EA doesn't have exclusive rights they still have licensing fees to pay yearly).
