For those who don't understand the OOP Calvin....

The MUT 10 program is supposed to celebrate 10 years of MUT, to do this they have been selecting cards that have been SUPER popular in MUT over its lifespan. Bo, Vick, Moss, all obvious picks as even in the last three years they have been immensely popular.

For Safety it had to either be Sean Taylor, Ronnie Lott, or OOP Calvin, especially once Dawkins got a Legend it HAD to be one of those 3. I'm not sure what year was the first to have an OOP FS Calvin but he's been a popular annual release for at least the last 2-3 MUTs. The only thing noteworthy is that they didn't use OOP Calvin as the Wildcard and then give one of the other 2 a conventional Safety card. Since they did it like this I'm not really sure who to expect as the Wildcard now.

There's a ton of stuff EA is f***ing up that we should be angry about, but the card selection here wasn't all that surprising. I keep seeing people enraged that an OOP Calvin card was made when he was a WR so I figured I'd explain it a bit.

I wonder who the Wild card will be. I hope its a new card like Polamalu or something.

The problem isn’t that he got a card. The issue is that he was the actual safety instead of the wildcard. In my opinion it’s such a waste. Coulda been polo or someone cool.

You seriously lumped in a OOP card with Taylor and Lott beforehand when it came to the MUT 10 safety ?

Impressive

Maybe just maybe there actually gonna use some new guys for that promo instead of the same expected shit as usual

DeadHeadGoalie

Nice read! I was super pumped to see OOP Calvin, I was thinking the lions were either getting Night Train but Calvin was a nice surprise.

Why not just do a Zero Chill/Out of Position promo like last year and have Calvin Johnson as set master?
