This year has been pretty slow. I'm hopeful they will have some great promos coming up, but it is EA after all.
Quote from the1andonly530 >> Besides the exploits that are being used and little on the promo side, the method for obtaining top players is EA's coin buying scheme. Everyone will try to buy packs to get top players. Of course pack luck is bad by EA design and players will buy cards using up coin or real cash to get training for player upgrades. This all started when they introduced NAT and now it's all about training and burning coins to get players upgraded. I might as well buy coins through these hack web sites. Game is a mess this year.
Yeah apparently EA has never heard the old proverb:
"you can sheer a sheep his whole life but you can only skin him once"

Kinda like last year when 'Most Feared' started like 3 weeks before Halloween (I may be exaggerating).....but people were tired of it before Halloween even came. Same thing happened with the Christmas promo. They just drew out all of their 'big' promos far too long. It got boring. I'm sure they'll do the same again this year rather than to come up with something new and original.
The content has been really brutal and they’ve been feeding us awful quality of cards. This has been easily the worst start ever. Couple that with overpowering run game and gameplay is boring as well. I love the new RPOs/Jet sweeps though. That’s the only thing keeping me playing is playing around w the playbooks.

The path continues and game sales will suffer, which cause pack sales to suffer as well. This does not even consider or take into account M19 sold 40% less games then M17. It seems both Madden and FIFA will continue to struggle as long as they use Frostbite.
Or.. Go back to Ignite.. RPM is out there for Hockey.

Of course there is the alternative of cleaning house. My preference. I don't like to see people lose their jobs, but the blatant disrespect to us the players by the Orlando staff should have Corporate making changes ASAP and not wait until the NFL season is over. By then M21 is already half done. Get new people involved now and stop the bleeding.
I think I'm done. Going to move on to other games. I'm going to try and keep my toe in the water by playing the MUT 10 and TOTW solos in the hopes that it will get better and I can still complete those sets if it does, but I don't even know if I can bring myself to do that much. Very disappointing.
Only my 2nd year on MUT so not too sure lol.....does seem like last year we had more going on
My other worry is even if they turn in on, will it be too little, too late? They may end up alienating a big group of players.
I hope not, but after this start I don't know. Everyone's favorite promos are just around the corner. Xmas and blitz were awesome last year imo, but they seem more clueless than ever this year.

Quote from C7Susb9 > And that's with the game being released weeks prior to previous years as well. Looks like we're on a 1 promo per month type schedule. Last year the gameplay was deplorable, but at least the content was really strong and theme teams were very viable. This year the game play is only marginally improved and the content is way less in quality and quantity
Agreed. Outside of the Stretch run cheese, this years game is a vast improvement gameplay wise to 19 (in my opinion). However, content is awful so far this year. No real promo in over a month. I don't even count the Kickoff Promo as a real promo since it was basically just one big money grab and the cards in it (outside of the masters) won't be viable for anyone for at least another month or two (some will never be usable outside of theme teams).
We are a fourth of the way through the football season and to my memory, I don't remember a worse start to content. I'm not even speaking on gameplay.
Do you guys feel the same way?
