soo HR ended up being tougher than I expected

I run a west coast passing offense, short passes and take what is given, obviously that doesn’t work in HR since you have to pass for 10+ yards and no one has to respect the run.  I have coverage beaters but didn’t work when they can just sit in quarters 3 deep and play the sticks

knocked out 25 wins in 5 hours but man that ish was a struggle

People dont want everyone to have a god team .... but also want HR to be like "Win a 15 minute game over the next 3 days for a free fantasy 90-91 OVR pack"

Like idk why people cant ever just accept that yeah this isnt a bad gig

This house rules really tests your patience.  Several times I tried to get fancy and it just ended up in interceptions.  Short routes, run out of bounds to avoid fumbles, and play good d is the key.

35 wins is insane. Especially for someone who has a job and social life

Quote from Disturbedxones >> I would say 6 hours to get that far is pretty great for a 72 hour event. What I've learned is if you come out swinging right out the gate and you get a couple 10+ yard gains, or one big play people just quit right away. I genuinely got 15 wins from people quitting in the 1st quarter alone.

^This! I've had people quit after getting as few as 4 points. If you have a good D you can just punt to them and win that way as well. They will lose the game by throwing incompletions or picks.

You dont have to throw for 10+ yards though. If he plays the sticks, kill him with drags or something, you will sure get 10+ yards out of those short passes

I got offsided glitched several times, then I had three teams run wildcat against me, two other games I was up 21 at the end of the first quarter and the opponent did not concede. So the games are taking forever.   I am a balanced player, I run as often as I pass so this HR is not super friendly to me.  I concede early when I get down but I am learning not alot of other do.  Going to take some work the next couple nights.

Quote from cowlip >> So take short passes and just matriculate down field slowly. Most will lose it on O anyway

thats what i ended up doing unfortunately, kicked field goals and punted and got picks

I'm with you, man. Same type of player: short to intermediate throws and a fair bit of run plays.. Needless to say that strategy/gameplan is not suited for this HR. Got to 35 W's, but it took me almost 6 hours.
