3rd 92+ MLB a Waste of Resources?

I had Lanier and Shazier powered up to 92. Just did the set to get Ray Lewis. Does a MLB3 actually get playing time in MUT?

Trying to decide whether to sell Lanier’s redux card. If he wouldn’t really have an effect at MLB3, I might as well take the coins.
