DC losses vs weaker teams?

In the last 48 hours my squads partner and I have experienced a lot of DC losses to weaker teams. It always happens in the beginning of the first quarter in the first few plays the game starts lagging and we both get booted from the game and get the loss. It never happens when we play a good team only when we play lesser teams.
After we got booted from squads this morning, I went to start my playoff run in h2h. In the wildcard game, first 2 plays i had big gains then the game started to lag and I get booted and get the loss. The guy I was playing had a lesser team then mine and I'm pretty sure I would of won.
This is becoming more and more frequent as of late. Is anybody else out there experiencing this? If so, is there a counter to this or something I can do to prevent it from happening? Helpful advice would be appreciated and thank you in advance.
