 Yes if u get the NFL 100 xfactor

 Yes, as long as it's the 100 version... I have Eric Dickerson powered up and I have his freight train 100 as the X-factor and it starts at the beginning of the game.  I don't even think I had to buy it again, I think I just had to select it, I could be wrong though.

No, you have to use the X-Factor 100 for the respective player.  That's the only one that activates at the start of the game.
