Yeah....I looked long and hard at the 46 as well. It's got pretty much every good run stopping defense there is.
The only reason I chose the Steelers over the 46 defense was that in obvious passing downs, I like to run either the 2-4-5 Dbl A Gap Nickle formation, or the 1-3-7 Quarter formation....and the 46 doesn't have either of them.

Quote from DOC2018 >> Thanks for the tip. I currently run the Vikings defensive playbook; but this might be something I need to try.
Currently sitting at 8-4 in WL; 1 loss was a disconnect; but the other 3, I lost literally because Dickerson ran 250+ yards all over me. And all three games I was in it the whole time; basically matching my opponents score for score; but their Dickerson was just unstoppable some plays.
I rewatched some replays after the games; and noticed whenever he shredded me; my dline and LBs were all being blocked well; and never could shed a block to help stop it.

try 3-4 bear formation on D - really though if people know how to use him, I'm getting shredded!
What defensive formation are you running to try to stop it?
I had the same problem....changed my defense from Patriots to Steelers.....because their playbook has the 4-4 split formation. (but also still has most of the other formations I like to run as well)
Your results may vary...but I've had a lot more luck shutting down Dickerson and Lamar Jackson when I'm in the 4-4 split.
Pinch your D-line, spread your linebackers and put them in QB contain. and then bring your CBs up into man press coverage (it helps that I have P. Surtain and D. Ward maxed out) and then user Tillman.
Faced a guy yesterday that had Dickerson and Jackson both...every time he had Dickerson in the backfield I'd call the 4-4 split.....only came out of it when he had 4 or more WRs.....and I completely shut down his run game.
Thought I had this Dickerson under control. Some games I shut him down others he annihilates me.
I simply don't understand, I swear some times he just breaks every tackle, or the other teams line blocks insanely well.
I have Dickerson too, and he is amazing. But mine doesn't do half as well as some of these info against. For instance, I will have 2-3 linebackers hit their Dickerson and not bring him down, meanwhile, my Dickerson gets tackled in the open field by Deion Sanders, even when i truck or juke him.
Anyhow. My linebacking group is Kuechly, Shazier, and Urlacker. And my dline is Taylor, Donald, Page/Randle, and Kecin Greene.
I am starting to think I need two different sets of players... One more run stopping focused . The other passing.
I am not sure if I need to switch my LBs or Dline. I am starting to think Randle/page are the problem, as they are not big boys that can stop the run. Perhaps switching to Mean Joe Greene or John Henderson.
